Open Mic

An Open Mic (short for “open microphone” is an event where individuals are invited to perform on stage in front of an audience. These events are typically informal and provide a platform for people to showcase their talents in a supportive environment. 


An Open Mic can be any topic, no evaluation criteria

High school student (Gr 9-12): Stand-by comedy, Poetry, Spoken word performance (5-7 minutes) 

Middle school student (Gr 6-8) : Public speaking, Poetry, Spoken word performance (5-7 minutes)

Elementary school student (Gr 3-5 ):  Story-telling , Public speaking (3-5 minutes)


开放麦 (Open Mic)


邀请个人在观众面前上台表演的活动, 通常是非正式的,为人们提供在支持性环境中展示才华的平台。

开放麦可以讲任何话题, 没有评选标准.


高中生 (Gr 9-12): 脱口秀, 诗歌,语言类节目 (i.e. 相声)(5-7 minutes) , 所有需原创

初中生 (Gr 6-8): 公共演讲, 诗歌 ,语言类节目 (i.e. 相声) (5-7 minutes),最好原创

小学生 (Gr 3-5 ): 讲故事, 公共演讲 (3-5 minutes)
