CAPA-BC Kids Club and 1st Kids’ Yard Sale

5月9日来自25个家庭的40位“小小店长”和16位“小小画家”将参加CAPA·BC组织的第一次👦👧儿童Yard Sale活动。令人感动和兴奋的是，有28个家庭派出了49人次的志愿者，参与到各项活动的筹备中（包括1个Waiting List家庭+3个非参与活动的志愿者家庭）。

这真真切切的体现了每个家庭对社区共建的热爱与情怀👍记得我先生在协会创建之初提出的协会Slogan“我为CAPA，CAPA为我”，现在看来早已深入人心。相信我们的孩子们在这些大爱的志愿者家庭中成长，一定会拥有更开阔的视野和更博大的胸怀❣️鸣谢所有志愿者👏👏

欢迎大家转发我们的活动，邀请朋友们几代同堂过来逛买由40位“小小店长”经营的22个店铺，有买有卖很热闹😃；也欢迎孩子们带着1-2件物品参加“以物易物”的两场活动；也可以参加我们丰富多彩的手工活动。更欢迎朋友们参与到“小小画家”的义卖作品的拍卖，义卖所得全部会捐到CAPA·BC，其中80%的善款会返到CAPA·BC的Kids Club中，用于未来后续孩子们的活动中。

Announcement 📣 + Gratitude ❤️

On May 9, forty “Little Bosses” and sixteen “Little Artists” from twenty-five families will participate in CAPA·BC’s very first Kids’ Yard Sale and Charity Art Sale. What’s truly touching and exciting is that 28 families have contributed a total of 49 volunteer shifts to help prepare for the event (this includes 1 family on the waiting list and 3 families who volunteered even though they are not participating in the event).

This genuinely reflects each family’s love and dedication to building a strong community. I remember my husband’s slogan when the association was first founded: “I serve CAPA, CAPA serves me.” Now, it’s clear this idea has taken root in everyone’s heart. We believe our children, growing up in these warm-hearted volunteer families, will develop broader perspectives and a deeper sense of compassion. ❣️ Huge thanks to all the volunteers! 👏👏

We warmly welcome everyone to share this event and invite friends and family—multiple generations—to come enjoy the 22 shops run by our 40 Little Bosses. It’ll be a lively marketplace with children playing the roles of sellers and consumers! 😃 Kids are also welcome to bring 1–2 items and join in two rounds of bartering (trade-only sessions). There will also be a variety of fun crafts to participate in.

You’re also invited to join in the auction of the Little Artists’ Charity Art Sale. All proceeds will be donated to CAPA·BC, with 80% going to the CAPA·BC Kids Club, to fund future children’s events and activities.
